Would you like to know, what happened to Janine later? We lost touch for the longest time. To tell the truth, I thought that she was tired of me. It was simpler then that. Life happened. I was on the West coast, she was on the East coast. I was getting together with my husband and starting the family, she was studying in the Unification Theological Seminary and working in Russia. Just recently, I found her e-mail address and wrote to her. She is still in New York, a mother of four children, two of them - twins. My friend, my funny, sincere and romantic friend has a special needs child. She was one of the twins.
As far as I can determine from the e-mails, Janine kept her heart of gold.
